Business Intelligence Engineer

Our Connected Store platform powers intelligent in-store touchpoints through a robust cloud-based system. We are seeking a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our global product team and help us drive the future of retail.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions 
  • Develop and maintain Tableau workbooks, dashboards, and data sources that embed in our customer facing applications
  • Utilize Tableau Prep to clean, shape, and combine data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Automate data preparation workflows and pipelines for efficiency and repeatability.
  • Analysis to identify product optimization, cost reduction, and overall business improvement
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and proposed ways of improving existing systems.

Qualifications

  • BSc Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Proven experience in developing impactful Tableau or Power BI dashboards and reports for product insights.
  • Proficiency in Tableau Prep for data preparation and cleansing
  • Strong SQL & NoSQL skills for data querying and transformation
  • Relational database design and optimization skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.


NICE TO HAVE: 

  • Tableau or Power BI certification
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and data storytelling
  • Proficiency in Python in a Data engineering/analysis application (Pandas/Jupiter/R)
  • Experience with data warehouse products such as BigQuery and/or Azure Data Warehouse.
